Apifox
Platform for API documentation, debugging, and testing
Apifox combines API documentation, debugging, mock data generation, and automated testing into a single collaborative platform. Users define interfaces using OpenAPI 3.0 or JSON Schema, then can debug those interfaces, create mock responses, and run test cases without re‑entering definitions. The tool validates response structures against the documented schema during debugging, offers environment variables and scripting compatible with Postman, and supports a wide range of scripting languages.
The platform is aimed at development and testing teams that need consistent API specifications across the lifecycle, reducing the effort of keeping separate tools such as Swagger, Postman, RAP, and JMeter in sync. It provides reusable data models, zero‑configuration mock data that mimics realistic values, and the ability to generate request and business code for many programming languages.
Team collaboration is built in, with cloud‑based real‑time syncing, permission management, and import/export of many API description formats, enabling smooth migration from existing tools while keeping documentation and testing aligned.
