Atsumeru

Atsumeru provides a self‑hosted media server for manga, comics, and light novels, offering native client applications on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android. Users can import collections in formats such as CBZ, CBR, CB7, PDF, ePub, FB2, and Djvu, and the server organizes the library with automatic, custom, and meta categories. Metadata can be edited manually or imported from supported catalogs, and the system recognizes ComicInfo.xml and a dedicated book_info.json format for automatic population.

The server supports multiple user accounts, each maintaining separate reading histories and access controls, and it synchronizes progress across the Web UI, desktop manager, and Android app. A REST API is exposed for programmatic interaction, and Swagger‑UI documentation is available locally. Installation can be performed via a downloadable JAR file or a Docker image, and the project is released under the MIT license as a stable, open‑source solution.
