Bambu Connect

The application provides a graphical interface for connecting to Bambu Lab 3D printers. It authenticates users with their Bambu Lab cloud account, lists printers linked to that account, and can discover devices on the local network in LAN mode. Users can import G‑code or 3MF files by drag‑and‑drop or via a dedicated import button, then select a printer, build plate, filament, and print options before sending the file to the printer to start a job.

Basic printer controls such as axis movement are available within the interface, and the tool displays printer details and status after a print begins. Live video preview is not included in the current release. The software also defines a custom URL scheme that allows third‑party applications to launch it and pass a file path, name, and version parameter for automated importing.

The current release is a beta version for macOS (both Apple silicon and Intel) and Windows, with Linux support still under development. It is positioned for users who need a straightforward way to manage Bambu Lab printers, transfer sliced files, and initiate prints from a desktop environment.
