Beekeeper Studio

Beekeeper Studio is a graphical SQL client that supports a wide range of database systems, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, SQL Server and many others. It provides a modern editor with syntax highlighting, auto‑completion, and the ability to open multiple tabs for concurrent queries. Connections can be organized into folders, and the application offers encrypted storage of passwords as well as SSL and SSH tunneling for firewall traversal.

The tool includes a spreadsheet‑like view for browsing and editing table data directly from query results, and it can create or modify tables through a visual interface without writing SQL. Users can import data from CSV files and export query results to CSV, JSON, JSONL, or SQL, with optional filtering.

An integrated AI Shell allows the client to interact with an external AI model to explore schema, generate and run SQL, and verify results against live data, supporting collaborative or pair‑programming workflows. The software is open source, free to use, and runs on all major operating systems.
