ClipMenu

Clipboard manager for Mac OS X.

Visit

The application records and stores a history of clipboard contents on macOS, supporting eight data types including plain text and images. Users can retrieve a previously copied item by invoking a shortcut key, which displays a menu from which the desired entry can be selected and pasted. In addition to history, the software allows registration of frequently used text fragments—such as email addresses or identifiers—as snippets that are also accessible through the same menu interface.

It is distributed as free, open‑source software and runs on macOS 10.5 or later, with universal binary support for both Intel and PowerPC architectures and 64‑bit operation on macOS 10.6 and newer. The tool is positioned for users who need quick access to past clipboard items or reusable text blocks without leaving the current application.

Development has been ongoing since 2008, with contributions from a community of volunteers and a release history that includes both stable and development builds. The project provides documentation, screenshots, and a brief news feed on its homepage.
