Coddo - Codex CLI
Coddo now supports Codex CLI, pick your agent
Coddo provides a command‑line interface that integrates OpenAI’s Codex alongside Anthropic’s Claude, allowing users to select which model handles a given programming task. The tool presents a Kanban board for organizing work, supports parallel task execution, and automatically creates Git branches for each task, keeping code changes isolated and traceable. It also syncs worktrees and skill definitions across sessions, so the same development environment is reused regardless of the chosen agent.
The interface includes an AI chat component where users can interact with the selected model, asking for code suggestions, debugging help, or implementation details. Because the Kanban board, worktrees, and skills are shared between Claude and Codex, switching agents does not require reconfiguration or duplication of project metadata.
Targeted at developers who want a unified workflow for multiple large‑language‑model assistants, Coddo aims to streamline code generation and management while keeping version control tightly coupled to AI‑driven tasks. The project is currently in an experimental stage and is offered as a free download for supported platforms.
