Configs
Configuration file manager for quickly viewing, editing and managing config files.
The tool scans a macOS system for common configuration files such as .zshrc, .bashrc, .gitconfig, and .vimrc, presenting them in a single interface. Users can add files individually or by dragging multiple items into the window, and the application groups them with optional custom tags and folders for easier organization.
Editing is performed with a built‑in code editor that offers syntax highlighting, search, zoom, dark mode, and line numbers. When a shell configuration file is saved, the program automatically runs a source command so changes take effect immediately. Each edit is recorded in a Git‑based history, allowing users to view diffs, compare versions, and revert with a single click.
The app includes context‑menu shortcuts for opening files in Finder, Terminal, or external editors, and supports both Chinese and English interfaces. It is distributed as a free, open‑source macOS application and can be installed from a downloadable DMG or built from source with Xcode.
