DashVPN is a proxy client that runs on macOS and iOS, offering smart‑routing, split tunneling, ad blocking and custom rule capabilities. It automatically separates domestic and international traffic using built‑in GeoSite domain rules, so local sites are accessed directly while overseas sites are sent through an Outline server without manual switching. Users can choose among three routing modes: Smart routing for everyday use, Global mode to force all traffic through the proxy, and Direct mode to bypass the proxy entirely.

The client provides a real‑time traffic monitor that displays which domains are proxied, which are direct and which are blocked, giving immediate insight into connection behavior. It supports a wide range of protocols, including Outline, VLESS, Shadowsocks, Trojan and VMess, and can import HTTPS subscription links that convey data quotas and expiration information from the server.
