DVDStyler is a cross‑platform application that enables users to author DVDs with custom menus and burn them to disc. It accepts a wide range of video and audio formats, including AVI, MOV, MP4, MPEG, OGG, WMV, MPEG‑2, DivX, Xvid, MP2, MP3 and AC‑3, and can place files of different formats on a single DVD without re‑encoding. The program also supports multiple subtitle and audio tracks, as well as the creation of photo slideshows.

The interface is designed for drag‑and‑drop workflow, allowing users to import background images, add buttons, text and other graphic objects, and adjust their properties such as font, colour and size. Menus can be built from scalable vector graphics or chosen from a set of ready‑made templates, and navigation can be refined through DVD scripting. Multi‑core processors are utilized to speed up processing.
