The tool runs in a web browser and provides a complete workflow for electronic design, from schematic capture through PCB layout and 3D visualization. Its schematic editor can handle large designs with hundreds of sheets and tens of thousands of pins, offering a component selector that accesses millions of free symbols, footprints and 3D models, together with real‑time inventory and pricing information. The PCB layout module supports projects with thousands of components and pads, featuring interactive routing, automatic placement of blind and buried vias, via stitching and rule‑based routing assistance.

Collaboration and data management are built on a cloud platform, allowing teams to organize projects, control access and keep design files securely synchronized. The software also integrates with enterprise systems such as PLM, OA, ERP and PDM, and it can generate a and manufacturing files that link directly to ordering services for PCB fabrication and related manufacturing processes.

A free standard edition and a paid professional edition are available, both delivering the same core design capabilities while differing in feature sets and support options. The application is stable, supports macOS, and is used by a global community of engineers for both hobbyist and commercial projects.
