Ekumene is a triage system that evaluates tasks against the time windows you have available today and ranks them by urgency. It pulls in data from the tools you already use, applies a set of signals such as deadlines, external dependencies, and prerequisite status, and presents the top priorities with the reasoning behind each ranking. Users can override the suggested order, preserving personal judgment while still seeing why the system flagged a task as urgent.

The software is aimed at consultants, engineers, and anyone who organizes work around multiple domains such as employment, side projects, health, or household responsibilities. It supports configurable frameworks and templates for different life areas, allowing users to set boundaries and protect time for work, rest, or personal goals. A web interface and a Chrome extension provide quick access to the daily triage without switching tabs or opening separate apps.

Ekumene does not automate task execution; it simply surfaces hidden deadlines, makes recurring goals visible, and shows trade‑offs between competing commitments.
