Overbridge provides a free software suite that links compatible Elektron instruments to a computer, enabling deep control and audio streaming from the hardware. It supplies dedicated plugins for major audio‑track formats (VST, AU, AAX) that let the instruments appear as software devices within a DAW, while also offering stand‑alone plugins with multitracking capabilities.

The suite can route multi‑channel audio directly through the plugins, allowing the hardware to function as a high‑quality sound card or to process individual track streams inside a DAW.
