ES-DE

ES‑DE provides a graphical interface for organizing and launching games across many platforms. It works on Linux, macOS, Windows and Android, and includes built‑in configuration for a wide range of emulators, game engines, managers and services, as well as locally installed applications. The software presents a modern, attractive UI that can be navigated entirely with a controller and offers a built‑in scraper to retrieve game metadata, images, videos and manuals.

The frontend supports more than 150 gaming systems out of the box, requiring only minimal setup to get started. Users can extend its capabilities by adding new system definitions or applications, and the appearance can be altered through a fully themeable system with many high‑quality themes available for download. Configuration options are extensive, allowing fine‑grained control over behavior and presentation.

All releases for Windows, macOS and Linux are open source and freely distributable, while the Android version is offered through commercial channels. The project is stable, with the latest version 3.4.1 released in April 2026, and provides portable binaries, installers and AppImage packages for various hardware architectures.
