Fredy continuously monitors major German real‑estate platforms—including ImmoScout24, Immowelt, Immonet, eBay Kleinanzeigen, and WG‑Gesucht—for new apartment, house, and flat listings. It aggregates the results, removes duplicates, and stores them so each listing is presented only once. A web interface lets users configure search criteria, intervals, and notification preferences.
When a matching listing appears, Fredy sends an immediate alert through a variety of channels such as Slack, Telegram, Email (via SendGrid or Mailjet), Discord, ntfy, and others. The system uses the reverse‑engineered ImmoScout mobile API to retrieve data efficiently and supports customizable search intervals.
The application is self‑hosted, available as a Docker image or a Node.js service, and includes a clean, intuitive web UI for managing searches. It is released under the Apache‑2.0 license, requires no subscription, and is maintained as a free, open‑source utility.
