FreeShow

FreeShow is an open‑source presentation application for macOS that targets churches and other community groups needing flexible slide displays. It provides a visual editor where users can adjust text fonts, sizes, colors, outlines, and shadows, and supports live text edits during a show. Slides can be timed for automatic transitions, include countdowns, and react to MIDI commands for integration with lighting or other stage equipment.

The software can output multiple views simultaneously, allowing distinct layouts for an in‑person audience, an online stream, and a stage monitor. It also offers web‑based remote control from mobile devices, NDI support for network video delivery, and the ability to embed images and videos as slide backgrounds.

A collection of editable templates and dynamic layouts helps users quickly style presentations, while built‑in features for scripture and lyric handling make it suitable for worship services, sermons, and rehearsals. The project is maintained as a stable, free solution aimed at reducing software costs for churches.
