The application runs in the macOS status bar and periodically fetches data from a GitHub account. It displays key metrics such as total stars, follower count, and unread notifications directly in the menu bar, allowing quick visual reference without opening a browser.

Additional panels provide a profile view with avatar and contribution statistics, a pie chart of repository star distribution where a minimum threshold can be set, and a bar/line chart showing trends for followers or stars over selectable time intervals. A list of current GitHub trending repositories is also available, and notifications are refreshed every ten minutes with optional desktop alerts and actions to mark items read or unsubscribe.

User interaction is handled through a toolbar offering refresh, settings, and quit controls. The interface uses native macOS components and renders charts with wkwebview and the e‑charts library. The project is released under the Apache 2.0 license and is marked as stable for macOS.
