Gyroflow
Video stabilization using gyroscope data
Gyroflow processes video footage together with recorded gyroscope data to correct unwanted camera motion. It applies lens‑distortion correction, horizon leveling, and a variety of smoothing algorithms, allowing users to fine‑tune the stabilization result with keyframes and speed‑ramping. The tool supports high‑bit‑depth formats and can handle 10‑bit, ProRes, DNxHR, OpenEXR, and Blackmagic RAW without requiring transcoding.
The software is aimed at cinematographers, drone operators, and FPV pilots who have access to gyro logs from cameras such as GoPro, DJI Action, Insta360, Sony mirrorless, Blackmagic, RED, and many drone flight controllers. Its workflow lets users pair a gyro source with a video file, preview the stabilized output in real time, and export directly to common professional formats. A built‑in database of lens profiles and automatic lens calibration simplify setup for a wide range of equipment.
Gyroflow runs on macOS and offers a modern, hardware‑accelerated interface with dark and light themes, as well as a command‑line mode for batch processing. Features include rolling‑shutter correction, support for image sequences, variable‑frame‑rate video, and a render queue for managing multiple jobs.
