Hive
AI agent orchestrator for parallel coding across projects
Hive provides a single desktop interface for running multiple AI coding agents—such as Claude Code, OpenCode, and Codex—simultaneously on different repositories or branches. It isolates each session in its own branch, preventing agents from interfering with one another and eliminating the need to manage numerous terminal windows. The application runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and can be installed via Homebrew, direct installer packages, or AppImage/deb files.
The tool is aimed at developers who need to parallelize code generation or refactoring across several projects, especially when working with multiple AI models. By consolidating agent output into one window, it streamlines workflow and reduces context‑switching overhead. Hive’s open‑source nature and MIT license encourage community contributions and extensions.
Hive is built with Electron, Node.js (≥20), and TypeScript (5.7), and it offers a stable release status. The repository includes documentation on setup, commands, architecture, and a roadmap for future development.
