Open-source outbound webhooks for your platform
It provides an open‑source service for sending outbound events from an application to a variety of destinations such as HTTP webhooks, AWS SQS, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, EventBridge, Kafka and others. The system guarantees at‑least‑once delivery, supports topic‑based subscriptions, and offers both automatic retries and manual retry triggers through an API or a user portal.
Developers can publish events directly via the Outpost API or have the service read from a queue, and a single deployment can host multiple tenants. A built‑in portal shows delivery metrics, lets users manage destinations, and integrates with OpenTelemetry for standardized tracing, metrics and logs.
The platform can be run as a managed service or self‑hosted, and it is released under the Apache 2.0 license, allowing teams to adopt it quickly while keeping operational costs low.
