Inboxen
Lets you have an infinite number of unique inboxes.
Inboxen is a self‑hostable service that lets each user create an unlimited number of distinct email‑style inboxes, each with its own address. The system is designed to operate without a subscription model, offering a free tier and a fully open‑source codebase released under GPL‑3.0. Because it can be deployed on private infrastructure, administrators retain full control over data and can run the platform indefinitely.
The project was originally offered as a public site, which has since been discontinued and its databases are being removed. However, the entire source code remains publicly available, allowing anyone to build and maintain their own instance. The code is hosted on Codeberg and includes a statistics page that reports usage metrics.
Inboxen targets users who need a large, flexible set of disposable or permanent inboxes—such as developers testing email flows, researchers gathering data, or anyone who wants to manage many separate message streams without relying on external providers. Its distinctive feature is the ability to generate an infinite number of unique inboxes while remaining completely free, self‑hosted, and open‑source.
