LibreBooking is an open‑source solution for managing reservations of multiple resources within an organization. It offers a web interface built on Bootstrap 5 that adapts to mobile devices, allowing users to book items, join waitlists, and view schedules. Administrators can define roles, set quotas or credits, and generate detailed usage reports, while the system supports integration with Outlook or Thunderbird via iCalendar files.
The platform is designed for self‑hosting and runs on PHP 8.2+ with MySQL 8.0+ or MariaDB 10.6+, and it can be deployed manually or through Docker. Its architecture is extensible through plugins and supports custom themes, LDAP, Active Directory, OAuth2, and SAML authentication, providing flexibility for diverse environments.
LibreBooking is released under GPL‑3.0, maintained as a stable fork of Booked Scheduler, and includes documentation, a live demo, and community channels for support and contribution.
