Lidarr

Lidarr is a self‑hostable music collection manager designed for users who acquire files via Usenet or BitTorrent. It monitors multiple RSS feeds for new releases from selected artists, then contacts download clients and indexers to retrieve, sort, and rename the tracks. The application can also scan an existing library, download missing songs, and automatically replace files with higher‑quality versions when they become available.

The software runs on major platforms including Windows, Linux, macOS, Raspberry Pi and can be deployed in Docker containers. It integrates with download utilities such as SABnzbd and NZBGet, and provides notifications and library updates for media servers like Kodi and Plex. Features include a calendar view of upcoming releases, manual search of releases, metadata writing for consistent tagging, and import lists from services such as Last.FM and Headphones.

Lidarr is released under the GPL‑3.0 license, is free of subscription fees, and is maintained as a stable, open‑source project with regular updates and community support through Discord, GitHub issues, and a public wiki.
