Lightkey
DMX lighting control
Lightkey provides a professional‑grade DMX lighting console built for macOS, offering a Mac‑styled interface that lets users design, program, and run lighting cues for venues such as night clubs, concert stages, churches, and live‑event productions. The software supports up to 8 192 DMX channels (16 full universes) and can drive fixtures through any compatible USB, Art‑Net, sACN, or ESP‑Net interface, relying on the Open Lighting Architecture to work with a wide range of hardware.
In addition to software control, Lightkey can map standard MIDI controllers or physical DMX consoles, allowing custom hardware desks for triggering cues, adjusting parameters, and syncing to music. It also integrates smart lighting devices such as Philips Hue bulbs, LED strips, and smart plugs, treating them alongside traditional DMX fixtures.
Advanced fixture profiles expose individual attributes—color, gobo, shutter, prism, zoom, and more—through dedicated controls, while a live preview shows virtual light beams that represent each fixture’s position, intensity, and focus, helping designers shape and maintain desired visual results.
