Limbas

Limbas is a low‑code framework that lets developers and non‑programmers build database‑driven business applications through a graphical front‑end. It supports a range of relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, SAP MaxDB and Oracle, and runs on a Linux server with Apache, PHP 8+ and PDO/ODBC. The system offers drag‑and‑drop creation of tables, fields, forms, reports and queries, allowing users to assemble custom CRM, DMS, product catalogs, ERP‑like modules and other workflow tools without extensive coding.

The platform targets medium and large enterprises that need tailored internal applications quickly and cost‑effectively. Its modular design lets individual solutions be linked together, and developers can extend the generated code with custom logic when required. Integrated editors, evaluation tools and administration utilities support the full development lifecycle from prototype to production.

Limbas is distributed under the GPL‑2.0 license, is self‑hostable, and provides free‑tier access without subscription. Installation options include a web installer, Docker images, and manual package deployment, with documentation, demo servers and community forums available for support.
