LinkAce

Bookmark archive with automatic backups to the Internet Archive, link monitoring, and a full REST API. Installation is done via Docker, or as a simple PHP application.

LinkAce provides a self‑hosted archive for personal web links, allowing users to save articles, tools, and other resources for long‑term storage. It organizes entries with tags and custom lists, offers a searchable interface with filtering and ordering, and supports both private and public collections that can be shared via RSS feeds. The system monitors saved URLs for availability and automatically backs up pages to the Internet Archive, while a REST API gives programmatic access to all functionality.

The application is built for multiple users and can integrate with single‑sign‑on providers through OAuth or OIDC. It includes a bookmarklet for quick saving, automatic title and description generation, and a light/dark theme that adapts to user preference. Zapier integration and support for over 2,500 external services enable further automation.

Installation is available as a Docker image, a PHP web installer, or a Kubernetes deployment, with optional backups to any S3‑compatible storage. LinkAce is released under GPL‑3.0, is free of subscription fees, and is maintained as a stable, open‑source project.
