Loca Studio

Loca Studio is a macOS application for managing app translations stored in Xcode Localization Catalog (xcloc) or XLIFF files. It lets developers open a whole folder of localization resources and perform static analysis, QA checks, and editing in a single interface. The tool automatically validates format‑string placeholders, matches source and target types, and flags terminology inconsistencies using a built‑in multilingual glossary that covers common iOS terms.

The program offers search, filtering, and diff views to locate untranslated strings, language mismatches, or recent changes, and it can import or export translations to and spreadsheets. Additional features include previewing formatted strings with arguments, displaying invisible whitespace, and grouping plural forms for easy review. Loca Studio runs on macOS 10.14 and later, supports both Apple silicon and Intel Macs, and operates without ads, tracking, or external analytics.
