Meta Quest Developer Hub is a desktop application for macOS and Windows that centralizes the workflow of creating and testing VR experiences on Meta Quest headsets. It lets developers connect a headset, view device logs, capture screenshots and video, and cast the headset display to the computer for real‑time observation. The tool also provides a file manager, multi‑user account switching, and the ability to disable the proximity sensor and boundary system to streamline testing.

In addition to device management, the hub integrates with the Meta XR SDKs, allowing developers to download the latest libraries, create new XR projects, and deploy APK builds directly to the headset from the desktop. Performance analysis features include custom commands, metrics, and Perfetto tracing, helping developers identify bottlenecks and optimize rendering and spatial audio.

The application also supports the final distribution pipeline by uploading apps to the Meta Horizon Developer Dashboard and tracking bugs or feature requests.
