Mitti

Mitti is a macOS‑only application designed for cue‑based video and media playback in live events and audiovisual performances. It provides a timeline‑style interface where individual cues can be configured with options such as looping, fade‑in/out, hold‑frame, and transition to other cues, allowing operators to define precise playback sequences. The software supports 10‑bit rendering, subtitle and closed‑caption output, and audio level monitoring with normalization.

The player integrates with common broadcast and live‑production hardware, offering output to screens, Blackmagic Design capture cards, and NDI streams. Control can be performed remotely via MIDI, OSC/UDP, DMX, or directly from an ATEM switcher, and it also works with Stream Deck devices. Compatibility spans both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, leveraging Metal for smooth rendering.

Target users include video technicians, AV engineers, and event production crews who need a stable, configurable playback tool that can be operated locally or from external control surfaces while maintaining high‑quality video output.
