MsgFiler

MsgFiler is a macOS utility that works inside Apple Mail to file messages using only the keyboard. It lets users type a few characters to locate a mailbox, then move selected emails with a single keystroke, eliminating the need for drag‑and‑drop or mouse navigation. The tool also provides a quick way to open a mailbox directly from the keyboard.

The application maintains lists of favorite and recently used mailboxes, placing them at the top of the selection list for faster access. Users can create new mailboxes without leaving the keyboard, and a “focused filing” mode dims other windows to keep the workspace uncluttered while filing.
