Music MiniPlayer

Music MiniPlayer provides a compact, floating control panel for Apple Music on macOS, reproducing the look and feel of the classic iTunes MiniPlayer. It offers essential playback functions, status indicators, and the ability to keep the window on top of other applications, allowing users to monitor and adjust music without opening the full Apple Music interface.

The utility adds a playlist drawer that lets users switch playlists, toggle shuffle and repeat modes, and view Apple Music playlists directly from the mini window. When streaming live audio such as Apple Music Hits or radio stations, the interface adapts to a layout suited for streaming content, and the “Now Playing” text scrolls with a synchronized marquee animation for clear track information.

Implemented entirely in Swift with AppKit, the application draws its UI using Core Graphics and Core Animation to ensure crisp rendering on both Retina and non‑Retina displays. It communicates with Apple Music via Scripting Bridge and the Distributed Notification Center, and runs on macOS Monterey and newer, supporting both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
