My Budget

My Budget is an offline, open‑source budgeting application that runs on Windows, macOS and Linux via Electron. It stores all financial data locally on the user’s computer, with an optional passphrase‑protected encryption layer for added privacy. The interface is kept minimal, offering only the essential tools needed to track income, expenses and overall budget.

Users can import and export transaction records in CSV format, allowing easy integration with other spreadsheet or accounting workflows. The program also includes limited support for synchronising transactions directly from a bank, with details provided in the documentation. Because the software operates entirely offline, no personal information is transmitted to external services.

The project is maintained as a stable release but remains in beta, so occasional breaking changes may occur until a first major version is finalized. Community support is available through a Slack channel, and bug reports are handled via the GitHub issue tracker. Documentation, including a user guide and wiki, is provided to help new users get started.
