Observer
Live logs inside your IDE to Debug without context switching
The extension streams PostHog events directly into the editor, updating every few seconds so developers can watch user activity in real time without leaving their code. It also runs an AI‑based scan of the incoming logs, issuing alerts when error rates or patterns deviate from the norm. Users can query the event data in plain English and receive answers derived from the actual logs.
Smart filtering lets developers narrow the view by log level, perform fuzzy searches, and drill into individual entries. When an issue is identified, a single click forwards the relevant log to Copilot or Cursor, enabling immediate debugging assistance from within the same window.
The tool is open source, works with any PostHog project, and installs in roughly half a minute. It offers live streaming, AI anomaly detection, natural‑language log queries, and one‑click debugging without any premium tier or usage limits.
