oji
Interactive text emoji maker.
The tool provides an interactive command‑line interface for creating text‑based emoticons. After installing globally with npm, running the command launches a prompt where users can select and combine characters for eyes, mouths, arms, bodies, and other parts to generate custom emoticons. It works on all operating systems that support a terminal.
Users can extend the default character sets by placing plain‑text files in a hidden directory in their home folder. Each file name corresponds to a specific component (for example, `eyes.txt` or `arms_left.txt`), and the characters listed inside are added to the selection menu, allowing personalized or culturally specific emoticon designs.
The project is released under the MIT license, includes continuous‑integration status badges, and follows a code‑style guide. It is marked as stable and is intended for developers or anyone who wants a quick, terminal‑based way to craft and copy text emojis.
