Paperweight

Paperweight scans the messages in an IMAP‑based inbox and builds a map of the online services that hold a user’s personal data. By analysing subscription emails, account notifications and breach reports it creates an inventory of accounts, highlights high‑risk or forgotten services, and can generate pre‑filled GDPR deletion requests with the appropriate contact information.

The tool offers bulk unsubscribe functionality that lets users opt out of many mailing lists at once, and it provides breach alerts sourced from Have I Been Pwned so users can see which of their providers have been compromised. All processing is performed locally on the user’s computer, ensuring that email contents never leave the machine.

Paperweight is open source and runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, supporting any IMAP provider such as Gmail and Outlook. The experimental version includes a 30‑day free trial of all core features, with optional paid licensing for unlimited history and multi‑account support.
