PB for Desktop

PB for Desktop is an open‑source client that brings Pushbullet functionality to the desktop environment. It receives push notifications from a Pushbullet account and displays them as native alerts on macOS, Windows and Linux, allowing users to stay informed without checking a mobile device. The application supports custom notification sounds, rich media such as thumbnails and channel icons, and can mirror Android phone notifications directly on the desktop.

In addition to notification handling, the app offers a universal clipboard feature that lets users copy and paste text across devices, a capability that requires a Pushbullet Pro subscription. Users can also pause incoming alerts for set periods, choosing one, four or eight hour snooze intervals, and the program runs unobtrusively from the menu bar or system tray with a low resource footprint.

The project is released under the MIT license, with source code hosted on GitHub, and provides downloadable binaries for macOS, Windows and various Linux distributions, including AppImage packages. Its focus on native integration and cross‑platform support makes it a practical tool for users who rely on Pushbullet for cross‑device messaging and file sharing.
