portkey
Simple web portal that serves as a startup page, displaying a compilation of links and URLs, while also allowing the addition of custom pages, all managed through a single configuration file.
The application provides a single‑page web portal that can serve as a browser startup screen, presenting a curated list of links and URLs. Links may be grouped into named sections, and a search box offers configurable keyword matching with fuzzy results. In addition to link collections, the portal can host small custom pages defined in the same configuration.
All behavior is driven by one YAML file, which can be overridden with environment variables prefixed by `PORTKEY_`. The server runs on a configurable host and port, supports dark and light themes, and is packaged as a lightweight binary with Docker images available. It is self‑hostable, free to use, and released under AGPL‑3.0.
The project targets users who want a simple, self‑contained homepage for personal or small‑team use, avoiding external services or complex setups while retaining the ability to extend the portal with custom content.
