Offline capabilities are provided through a bundled English‑Chinese dictionary with three million entries and local OCR engines, ensuring functionality without network access and preserving privacy.

A plugin architecture allows custom extensions for translation, OCR, speech synthesis, and vocabulary management, giving users flexibility to add or replace back‑ends.
