Prosody IM

Prosody is a modern XMPP communication server written in Lua that can be installed on a personal or organizational server in minutes. It is designed for straightforward setup and configuration while using minimal system resources, making it suitable for small‑scale deployments as well as larger services that require efficient handling of chat traffic.

The server supports a broad range of desktop and mobile XMPP clients, allowing users to exchange messages across devices.
