PrusaSlicer

PrusaSlicer is an open‑source application that converts 3D models into G‑code for FDM and resin printers, including RepRap, Makerbot, Ultimaker and other devices. It runs locally on Windows, macOS and Linux, requiring no account or cloud connection, and supports offline use in secure or air‑gapped environments.

The program offers three operating modes—Simple, Advanced and Expert—so users can start with preset profiles and gradually access the full set of slicing tools. Built‑in updates keep printer and filament profiles current, and the software can transfer G‑code directly to a printer over a local network without internet access.

Developed by the same team that creates Prusa hardware and firmware, the slicer integrates tightly with Prusa printers while remaining compatible with any FDM or resin machine. It is free to use, fully open source, and retains all model data on the user’s computer unless explicitly shared.
