PubQ
PubQ is the missing scheduler for Substack Notes. Write in batches, pick your times, and publish automatically. Free during beta.
PubQ provides a Chrome‑based workflow that lets Substack creators write multiple short Notes, assign exact dates and times, and have them posted automatically without manual intervention. After installing the extension, the user logs into Substack, where the extension captures and encrypts the session cookie before sending it to PubQ’s service. The web dashboard, built with HTMX, displays the scheduled Notes and handles publishing, retries on failure, and alerts when the cookie expires.
The tool targets developers and writers who need reliable, minute‑level scheduling for Substack Notes, a feature not offered by Substack itself. Security is emphasized through AES‑256‑GCM encryption of the session cookie and TLS‑impersonated requests that mimic a real Chrome browser, aiming to keep the automation undetectable to Substack.
PubQ is available in an experimental beta with a free tier; it supports automatic retries, cookie expiry notifications, and a lightweight interface that works on any device.
