Receipto lets users store and retrieve bills, receipts, and warranty documents through a WhatsApp chat interface. Users forward photos, PDFs, or other files to a dedicated WhatsApp number; an AI extracts key information such as product name, amount, date, and expiry, and saves it in an encrypted personal vault. The service can answer plain‑English queries like “Show my Flipkart order from last month” or “When does my fridge warranty expire?” and returns the requested document within seconds.

The system also offers automated alerts, notifying users 30 days before a warranty ends or when a return window is about to close. Optional Gmail integration pulls incoming bills, order confirmations, and e‑warranties automatically, adding them to the vault without manual effort. Each receipt is categorised by type (e.g., electronics, groceries) to keep the collection organized.

All data is end‑to‑end encrypted, and only the user can access the stored documents. The service is provided free of charge, requires no additional apps or sign‑ups, and operates continuously via WhatsApp.
