Local-first spaced repetition app with FSRS scheduling and Anki import.

Visit

The application provides a local‑first environment for spaced‑repetition study, employing the FSRS algorithm to schedule flashcard reviews. Users can import existing Anki decks and create new cards of various types—including Q&A, cloze, and multiple‑choice—while the system tracks coverage and retention. Scheduling integrates with calendar data, offering autopilot plans that allocate study sessions around free time and prioritize items that need reinforcement.

A built‑in Course Studio extracts content from lecture notes, PDFs, and syllabi to generate flashcards, study guides, concept maps, and practice exams. The AI‑assisted generation produces summaries, timelines, and exam‑relevant material, allowing learners to synthesize multiple sources into a cohesive study package. Adaptive sessions interleave new questions with due reviews, and a coverage map visualizes progress across topics.

The macOS client is released under GPL 3 and stores data locally, while a forthcoming web version will extend the same functionality across platforms. The project is open source, stable, and targets students or self‑directed learners who want an extensible, calendar‑aware study workflow without reliance on external services.
