Speedtest Tracker

Monitor the performance and uptime of your internet connection.

Speedtest Tracker is a self‑hosted utility that continuously measures the speed and reliability of an internet connection. It runs scheduled tests using the Ookla Speedtest CLI, records download and upload rates, ping, packet loss and other metrics, and stores the results for later analysis. The application presents the data in a web dashboard where users can view historical trends, identify performance patterns, and assess ISP uptime.

The tool is packaged as a Docker image built by LinuxServer.io, allowing deployment on any container‑compatible platform, including NAS devices such as Synology and Unraid. Configuration is performed through environment variables, and users can enable notifications that trigger when measured performance falls below defined thresholds. Community‑driven translations are managed via Crowdin, providing multi‑language support.

Speedtest Tracker is released under the MIT license, is free of subscription fees, and is actively maintained as a stable, open‑source project. It targets individuals or administrators who want to keep a detailed log of their network performance without relying on external services.
