Subspace

Subspace provides a macOS environment where multiple AI agents—such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini, Cursor, Copilot, and others—can be launched side‑by‑side alongside terminals, documentation, files, and a web browser. Users create a project folder, and the app automatically generates workspaces that backfill recent agent interactions, allowing each new session to start with the full history of decisions, progress, and open tasks.

The platform builds a persistent, token‑efficient memory that records every conversation turn with structured tags and periodic status summaries. This memory is searchable by text, tag, workspace, or timeline, and it is shared across all agents in the workspace, so any tool can continue where another left off without needing to be re‑briefed. The interface displays agents’ states—working, awaiting input, or completed—within the same workspace.

Subspace is aimed at developers who work with multiple AI assistants and need a unified context that survives across sessions. It emphasizes quick setup, automatic context retention, and the ability to switch between models without losing prior work.
