TrojanX
Mechanism to bypass the Great Firewall
TrojanX is a macOS client for the Trojan protocol, providing a way to route traffic through a proxy that can bypass the Great Firewall. It runs on macOS 10.11 or later and can be installed via Homebrew. The application includes a built‑in PAC (proxy auto‑config) updater that downloads the GFW List from GitHub and allows users to define custom rules for the PAC file.
Network traffic is handled through an integrated HTTP proxy powered by Privoxy, enabling standard web requests to be forwarded through the selected Trojan server. The client’s design builds on the ShadowsocksX‑NG project and is released under the GPLv3 license.
TrojanX is intended for users who need a stable, macOS‑native solution for accessing resources blocked by the Great Firewall, offering configurable proxy rules and automatic list updates without additional external tools.
