Twake Desktop

Twake Desktop provides file synchronisation for the Twake Workplace suite, allowing users to keep documents stored in Twake Drive consistent across their macOS devices. It integrates with the broader open‑source workplace ecosystem, which includes chat, mail, and video‑conferencing tools, and uses a single Twake account to access all services. The client stores data locally while maintaining encrypted backups, and supports recovery via a recovery key to preserve privacy.

The application is aimed at professionals and teams that require a self‑hosted, privacy‑first collaboration platform. By synchronising files on macOS, it enables seamless access to shared resources from laptops, desktops, and other Apple devices without relying on proprietary cloud services.

Twake Desktop is released as a stable, open‑source component of the Twake Workplace, and is designed to be secure, scalable, and compatible with other Twake products such as OnlyOffice for document editing. It can be installed locally alongside the rest of the Twake suite.
