Veertu
The lightest VM on Mac. Responsive, sandboxed & native way to run VM on your Mac. ![Freeware][Freeware Icon]
Veertu provides a lightweight, native virtualization layer for macOS that creates container‑like virtual machines suitable for development and continuous integration workflows. The platform runs macOS VMs on both Intel and Apple Silicon hardware, allowing developers to spin up isolated environments for building, testing, and scanning iOS and macOS applications. VM images are stored in the Anka Registry and can be executed on‑premises, in managed hosting, or on AWS EC2 Mac instances.
The tool integrates security scanning capabilities, offering CVE detection for packages inside VM images, on bare‑metal Macs, and within EC2 Mac AMIs. These scanners operate continuously and can be incorporated into existing CI pipelines to flag vulnerable third‑party dependencies before deployment.
Target users include mobile developers, game studios, enterprises, and independent software vendors that need reproducible, scalable macOS environments for CI/CD, as well as teams seeking automated security assurance across their macOS build infrastructure.
