Weblate
Web-based translation tool with tight version control integration.
Weblate provides a web‑based interface for continuous localization that integrates tightly with version control systems. Translators work directly on the source repository, and changes are propagated across components while the system records attribution in the VCS. The platform includes configurable quality checks, automatic linking to source files, and support for unlimited languages and projects when self‑hosted.
It is aimed at developers and maintainers of open‑source software, as well as companies that need to manage translations for their codebases. The tool is used by more than 2,500 libre projects and companies in over 165 countries, and it can be deployed on‑premises or accessed through a hosted service.
Weblate is released under the GPL‑3.0 license, allowing free use, modification, and redistribution. The software is stable, self‑hostable, and offers optional professional support and cloud‑ready deployment options without requiring a subscription.
