The editor provides a native macOS environment that parses XML in real time, maintaining metadata to offer context‑aware editing aids. It presents an outline view that reflects the document’s hierarchy as it changes, and automatically validates the file against any associated DTD or XML Schema, updating results continuously while you type.

When a DTD or schema is present, the tool suggests element and attribute completions, showing documentation extracted from the definition. If no explicit schema is supplied, it can derive an XSD automatically and use that for completion and node documentation. Search capabilities include XPath queries and regular‑expression matching, and the editor supports XSLT transformations and a live HTML preview of the processed output.

The application is built as a 64‑bit macOS‑only binary, targeting users who need an XML‑aware editor with integrated validation, schema‑based assistance, and transformation tools in a single, macOS‑centric interface.
