YuleLog is a terminal‑based visual simulation of a Christmas Yule log fireplace. It renders animated snowfall and fire effects using ASCII graphics, allowing users to restart the snowfall with the Enter key and exit the program by pressing x. The animation is optimized for full‑screen terminals and relies on the Asciimatics library for rendering.

The tool is distributed as a command‑line application that can be installed via pip or from source, and it can also be invoked as a Python module. It runs on both Linux and Windows platforms and has been tested with Python 2.7 and 3.5. An entry script makes it callable directly from the shell.
